General Information |
|||||||||
| All
RA members and potential members are invited to join our walks. For these
it is advisable to wear boots and suitable clothing. A packed lunch may
also be required.
Please note that the ramble routes and distances may be altered at the walk leader's discretion, due to bad weather conditions, etc. It may be advisable for new walkers to try our shorter walks first, but we would be considerate and accommodating if their initial walk was longer. |
Weekend
walks take place every Saturday and Sunday with distances from 5 miles upwards,
in areas from the immediate locality to further afield. From May until September
we offer mid-week evening walks of 5 - 6 miles using local footpaths, and
in autumn and winter, daytime mid-week walks of a similar distance take
place each month.
